Cause Branding
Teaneck Scenario
Statement of Problem: The Teaneck Public School District is attempting to build a closer relationship with the taxpayers (citizens) in town. The district wants to develop FOUR different cause branding marketing campaigns to increase goodwill in the community. As the Marketing/Public Relations Officer your supervisor has approached you to build and develop these campaigns. You understand that Teaneck is a diverse community with many different groups of residents living in the town. You want to make sure you maximize the impact of your cause branding campaigns by partnering with causes that the largest and most influential groups of citizens care about. GOOD LUCK!
Cause 1- PampersRational- This cause relates to the masses, whether you have children or not. The elderly have grandchildren and those middle aged people are going to become parents. Who doesn't want to make sure a child has the right vaccines.
Cause 2- Yad Eliezer and Child Hunger in IsraelRational- This cause relates to the Jewish population of Teaneck. This organization helps feed hungry children in the region of where Jews are mainly from. There is a large population of Jewish children in schools.
Cause 3- AutismRational- Autism is a large cause affect. One in every 88 children are born with autism in the year of 2000. Teaneck is a town with many children and there are autistic children walking through the halls of schools. We need to be able to help others accept and understand these children.
Cause 4- TomsRational- Toms is promoting a good cause. Every time a pair of Toms is bought a child in need receives a pair. Toms has become a very popular brand and many children in Teaneck own a pair.
